Every born soul has an ingrained and deep-rooted talent. Unfortunately, a great ratio of people haven’t discovered the inner gifts in them and many will never in their lifetime. Human beings are far greater than just being a number holding down a spot in the world population figure. They make things happen and they change the world into a better place to live in. But this latter case won’t happen if we don’t recognize our gifts and harness the potential that lies within us.
It’s time to break our shells and come out of our isolation and give room for our skills and talents to find expression because without that, it won’t certainly manifest. Until we get hold of what life really means for every one of us, we will never enjoy it and we will skip a hoard load of opportunities that are delivered to us because life is but an overflowing river, it’s only up to us whether we stand there with a bucket or a spoon.
What we ought to do is merely search for that ability to spot and understand our gifts and embrace them by looking deep inside us. Living a fulfilling life begins with us having clarity about our purpose. Once we reach that place, we will gain back the control to put those gifts to use for indeed that will set us up for a manifest success.

It isn’t so simple to have clarity about our purpose for me. How can we rich that place? 🙂
I personlly think that every person has that hashed voice inside that echoes our purpose but It is only us that answer that calling within ourselves. Im sure you re gifted in some way or another and I know you have some dream and purpose you are living for. It is that simple. In my opinion its reaaaally rare to find someone really literally LOST. Maybe you just need to step backwards and think about who you are and what is your motive and define your aim and goal. Im sure you will come up with a lovely purpose that is always flickering in your heart 🙂

Wow. You totally take me back to a comment a director made. I was an extra on a feature film set (when I’d left the marriage, before bearing my son) and had got chatting with him in the breaks, and ended up in the editing room of the studio, assisting, giving my view, & we had great chats. And he said, “Don’t hide your talents under a bushel, Noeleen”. And I thought so many things in rapid succession:
he thinks I have talent!
I believe I have talent, but am afraid I don’t!
what makes he think I hide them under a bushel… because I work in an office ad infintum?
and on and on. Just can’t forget those words.

I think a lot of times those institutionalized system in our societies never let you breakout from those subjected stereotypes.There in lies the problem of not being able to break free. Breaking free for some people is scary (even though they might know of their talents) as societies, institutes, religions donot like to be challenged.
Some talents become a threat to these systems and then these systems become threat to those talented individuals.
Talent could vary from person to person. 🙂
I personally admire your valor brining up such sighless points that barely cross our minds.
You are absolutely right concerning the stereotypes that institutionalized our societies and that have done a complete brain wash to every corner of our minds.
Growing up with these stereotypes within ourseleves is actually what holds us back and never let us break free because we fear getting rejected or even worse than that being considered as rebels and revolutionists by society or any other from of institutions because our talents might trigger some vulnerable issues which might ultimately scratch the sanctity of these institutions, societies or religions.
